I did spend a good chunk of this week catching up on my RSS subscriptions though and I came across some write-ups on some of the sessions that would have been of interest to me &#8211; sadly there are many more that I have missed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For highlights from the keynote, see <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.baeke.info\/blog\/_archives\/2008\/11\/3\/3961559.html\">Geert Baeke&#8217;s review<\/a> and also <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.dirteam.com\/blogs\/sanderberkouwer\/archive\/2008\/11\/05\/tech-ed-emea-2008-it-pro-day-1-recap.aspx\">Sander Berkouwer&#8217;s recap of day 1<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Geert has also blogged in detail on <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.baeke.info\/blog\/_archives\/2008\/11\/4\/3962854.html\">branch office infrastructure<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.baeke.info\/blog\/_archives\/2008\/11\/6\/3965254.html\">Clustered Shared Volumes<\/a> as they relate to Windows Server 2008 R2.  He also has a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.baeke.info\/blog\/_archives\/2008\/11\/6\/3965201.html\">Windows Server 2008 R2 overview<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markwilson.co.uk\/blog\/2008\/10\/just-a-few-of-the-new-features-to-expect-in-windows-server-2008-r2.htm\">I wrote one a couple of weeks ago<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/download.microsoft.com\/download\/F\/2\/1\/F2146213-4AC0-4C50-B69A-12428FF0B077\/Windows_Server_2008_R2_Reviewers_Guide_(BETA).doc\">there is a beta version of Microsoft&#8217;s own reviewer&#8217;s guide too<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.stealthpuppy.com\/terminal-server\/svr203-windows-server-2008-r2-work-anywhere-infrastructure\">Aaron Parker covered the work anywhere infrastructure<\/a> (and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markwilson.co.uk\/blog\/2008\/11\/remote-desktop-services-more-than-just-a-terminal.htm\">I was briefed on remote desktop services too<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maybe I&#8217;ll make it to TechEd EMEA in Berlin next year but, in the meantime, videos from TechEd EMEA and the other TechEd events help around the world may be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/techedonline\/\">TechEd Online<\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Imagine the situation (purely hypothetical of course) &#8211;
