{"id":36,"date":"2004-11-04T14:13:00","date_gmt":"2004-11-04T14:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/markwilson.me.uk\/blog\/2004\/11\/your-e-mail-anytime-anyplace-anywhere.htm"},"modified":"2007-05-15T11:54:14","modified_gmt":"2007-05-15T10:54:14","slug":"your-e-mail-anytime-anyplace-anywhere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.markwilson.co.uk\/blog\/2004\/11\/your-e-mail-anytime-anyplace-anywhere.htm","title":{"rendered":"Your e-mail: anytime, anyplace, anywhere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--109949904535854580-->For some time now, I&#8217;ve been using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mail2web.com\/\">mail2web.com<\/a> web service for reading my e-mail when I&#8217;m away from home.<\/p>\n<p>The basic service doesn&#8217;t require registration (no details are stored as it is basically an HTTP wrapper for POP3 and IMAP4 servers), but registered users can use a customised mail2web site with multiple e-mail accounts, favourite newsgroups, frequently used links and even their own image.<\/p>\n<p>Now the guys at mail2web have made the service even better, with <a href=\"http:\/\/mail2web.com\/wap\">WAP<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/mail2web.com\/pda\">PDA<\/a> versions of the website. In an earlier post, I gave details for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markwilson.co.uk\/blog\/2004\/11\/accessing-internet-using-vodafone-gprs.htm\">connecting a PDA to the Internet using the Vodafone GPRS service<\/a> (the principle is the same whoever your mobile carrier).
