seating Micro SD cards in a Hudl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an attempt to close some tabs in my browser and transfer some notes to blog form, another &#8220;short takes&#8221; post&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>Deleting paired Bluetooth devices from a Volkswagen MFD<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forums.vwvortex.com\/showthread.php?5795490-Unable-to-Remove-a-Bluetooth-Paired-Phone&amp;p=78739800&amp;viewfull=1#post78739800\">The advice is for a 2012 Passatt<\/a> but it worked for my Tiguan and probably for a Golf, etc. too (there&#8217;s a maximum of 4 connected devices &#8211; although only one can be active at any one time):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>&#8220;Go to the Phone on the center information panel<\/li>\n<li>Go to Users and you will the the phone names<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the phone you want to remove<\/li>\n<li>Push the OK button on the steering wheel<\/li>\n<li>You will be offered some options, scroll down to Delete and hit OK&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Incidentally, <a href=\"http:\/\/knowyourvw.com\/\">Know Your VW<\/a> is a useful site (although it is intended for the North American market).<\/p>\n<h3>Patience required inserting a Micro SD card in a Tesco Hudl<\/h3>\n<p>After buying my Tesco Hudl a few weeks ago, I decided to get a memory card to expand the on board capacity (e.g. cary more music\/video with me). \u00a0Of course, Tesco is the last place I want to buy accessories like that and I picked up twice the capacity for half the price (or something like that) at MyMemory.co.uk.<\/p>\n<p>The problem came when <a href=\"https:\/\/ttselectrical.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/3533\">I wanted to insert the card into the Hudl<\/a>. \u00a0For a while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcadvisor.co.uk\/forums\/1\/tech-helproom\/4264416\/how-to-install-a-micro-sd-card-in-the-hudl-tablet\/\">I seriously thought I had a faulty tablet that would need to be returned<\/a> (a bit of a shame after getting it just how I wanted it, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markwilson.co.uk\/blog\/2014\/03\/removing-tesco-customisations-from-my-hudl.htm\">including rooting and customising<\/a>&#8230;) &#8211; I kept on pushing the card in but it would spring straight out again. \u00a0It turns out that the Hudl&#8217;s card slot is very deeply recessed and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modaco.com\/topic\/365852-sd-card-seating\/\">some long nails (or even a knife) might be needed to push it in far enough and get it to stay in place<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In an attempt to close some tabs in my browser and transfer some notes to blog form, another &#8220;short takes&#8221;
