A few months back I had to enable comment moderation<\/a> on this site to deal with the blog spam I was getting. Unfortunately, over the last few days I’ve had to delete hundreds of spam comments sent to my e-mail for moderation so, with regret, I’ve had to turn on word verification<\/a> to make sure that comments are only left by humans.<\/p>\n

Please continue to leave comments on the blog – it’s always nice to hear when something was useful, or when someone has some additional information relating to one of my posts. I’m just sorry that I have to put these blocks in to make it harder for the ‘bots – unfortunately it also makes it harder for people to leave genuine comments too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
