I find that pretty much anything <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/winlogo\/\">designed for Windows XP<\/a> runs under Windows Server 2003, but there are some configuration differences out of the box.  One of these is the shutdown event tracker &#8211; a useful feature on enterprise servers, but not so useful for me on my everyday laptop &#8211; so I was pleased to stumble across <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/technet\/prodtechnol\/windowsserver2003\/library\/ServerHelp\/25412cae-6322-4427-a9bf-3b43df6d4386.mspx\">Microsoft&#8217;s advice on configuring the shutdown event tracker<\/a>, including how to disable it.
